Creating a compelling audio play intended for streaming on local radio stations. The group also explore the creation of a live performance rendition of the plays, incorporating elements of movement and animation. This dynamic fusion of mediums aims to offer audiences a multifaceted experience. The culminating live performance is scheduled to take place at Kiln Cinema on Saturday, July 27th, 2024.Company Three Core Company | DirectorSeptember 2023 - April 2024Lead weekly workshops centered around the art of sketch comedy, engaging a group of 13 dynamic young individuals. Guided the participants through various aspects of sketch comedy creation, including devising, writing, character development, and performance techniques. Collaboratively devised a show alongside the participants, culminating in a public performance that showcased their creativity, humor, and collaborative spirit to an audience.Synergy Theatre Project | Facilitator/DirectorSeptember 2023 - November 2023, Novemeber 2023 - February 204Planned, executed, and edited film projects within Pupil Referral Units, in direct response to Synergy Theatre Project’s productions: He Said with Jubilee Academy and The Thief with Helix Education Centre. Orchestrated workshops aimed at honing participants' film, devising, teamwork, and communication skills. Facilitated the collaborative creation of films, with participants actively involved in the writing, filming, and performance processes.Company Three Core Company | FacilitatorSeptember 2022 - April 2023Planned and executed a series of weekly sessions with a director and a dedicated group of young artists. These sessions delved into thematic exploration, fostering the collaborative process of devising and rehearsing a show. Collaborated with a diverse group of young people, some of whom had experience with the criminal justice system or have exhibited challenging behaviours. The program aimed to provide a supportive and inclusiveenvironment for skill development and creative expression. White City Theatre Project | Facilitator/DirectorApril 2022-July 2022, April 2023-July 2023Over a 10-week period conducted workshops and rehearsals in a secondary school, culminating in a successful performance at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith. Focused on actively engaging and empowering students requiring additional support in socialisation and confidence-building, while fostering essential skill development.Company Three Deep Dive Project | Facilitator/DirectorApril 2022-June 2022Delivered a series of six workshops in an Islington school, guiding young participants to create compelling scenes centred around the theme of aspirations. Aimed at enhancing their writing and performance abilities, promoting improved social interaction within the school, and fostering diverse communication methods. The project concluded with a film of their work.April 2023-June 2023Returned to the school to deliver a follow-up project, leveraging the skills acquired from the initial iteration. This phase centred on the exploration of masculinity, promoting a deeper understanding of what it means to be male, and actively challenging harmful stereotypes.Action On Disability and Lyric Hammersmith | Facilitator/DirectorApril 2022-PRESENTConceived and conducted weekly workshops for neurodivergent individuals aged 16-25, with a primary focus on cultivating theatre skills and practices. These workshops fostered a safe and inclusive environment for creative play and aimed to promote positive social interactions among participants.Lyric Hammersmith | Facilitator/DirectorJanuary 2018-PRESENTSTART (Winter 2018, Spring 2019, Winter 2022): An accredited intensive six-week training course for NEET (not in education, employment or training) young people with the aim of re-engaging them in education, employment or training. Planned and led sessions and rehearsals responding to the main house performance which ended with a performance on the main stage.REWIND (Spring term 2018 - Present): 10 weekly sessions each term, guiding and directing 13-16-year-olds from a Pupil Referral Unit or school with young individuals grappling with complex behavioural and emotional challenges. Collaborated with a writer/storyteller to facilitate the creation of a compelling showcase that highlighted the participants' journey and the skills they acquired throughout the project. Additionally, successfully delivered Arts Award Qualifications as an integral part of the project. ACTING UP (Academic term time 2018-Present): Weekly workshops with 7-16-year-olds, focusing on theatre techniques, using a theme to create a sharing at the end of the term for a selected audience. Princes Trust Explore Project | FacilitatorJuly 2022Planning and delivery of poetry workshop focusing on developing creative practises that can help process experiences and memories.Peer Power | Facilitator/DirectorJuly 2019-October 2019Facilitated workshops to empower young individuals in creating a short film entirely driven by their peers. The main goal was to advocate for youth health and justice through a manifesto crafted by the participants.
