Helix emerges as a compelling short film brought to life through the collaborative efforts of James Kent and Magero Otieno Magero, in conjunction with the students of Helix Education Centre. Spanning a 10-week period, James and Magero facilitated immersive workshops centered on the intersection of film and poetry, all in direct response to Michael Bhim's The Thief, by Synergy Theatre Project. Through a blend of creative expression and introspection, participants delved into themes of ethical decision-making amidst crisis and stress. The culmination of their collective efforts manifests in an evocative 8-minute film comprising four distinct parts, each a testament to the journey of self-discovery and resilience.
