My Man is a dynamic short film created with the participants of the Lyric Hammersmith’s Young Lyric Rewind programme, working closely with students from Ormiston Bridge Academy. Over a series of practical, hands-on workshops, the group went through the fundamentals of filmmaking and acting, and they developed their own story from the ground up. Across the project, students explored the realities and pressures of growing up in London - navigating expectations, friendships, and responsibilities. The resulting film stands as a testament to their collaboration, skill-building, and bold storytelling, capturing the intensity and resilience of young Londoners.
